And I found a good play that demonstrates dramatic irony. Much Ado About Nothing. Well, all of Shakespeare makes excellent use of the concept, but I think Much Ado About Nothing gives the sort of example that Gerald envisions, as evidenced by the characters of Beatrice and Benedick.
