Have either of you seen Draco?

I was returning from lunch and I saw Teddy on the stairs. He was giving me one of his smiles...you know, the gloating kind. I asked him if he had something to say, and he told me that I was in for a big surprise. That we're all in for a big surprise. "Wait til you learn the truth about Draco," he said.

Well, I just ignored him and went on my way, of course.

Only now I can't find Draco. He wasn't at breakfast or lunch, either, but I thought he might've just imbibed a bit too much punch last night.

It's you two that Draco's closest to. Do you have any idea what's going on? What's Teddy going on about? It's just nonsense, surely. Isn't it?

Hullo Daphne. I saw Draco a few hours ago, he was going through the common room. He seemed fine, maybe a little tired?

Teddy might just be trying to upset you. He has a tendency to do that sometimes. But if you're worried about Draco I'll help you look for him.

I'm not worried so much as bothered. There's no doubt that getting under people's skin is something Teddy enjoys - nay, excels at! - but it isn't like him to gloat without good reason. And what could he mean, "the truth about Draco?"

What I mean to say is, Draco has always made it clear to me that he has certain secrets. I don't know what those secrets are, but could it be that Teddy found them out, somehow?

Draco is fond of making himself seem more important than he really is. I doubt he has any secrets that would interest Teddy.

Let's just put this to rest. You keep looking for Draco, and I'll see if I can find Teddy.

Draco told you that Daphs has been a little moody lately, right? Or maybe she really is upset right now, it's so hard to tell from writing. Teddy is good at knowing how to upset people.

I couldn't tell her that I think Draco is off helping the others look for Ron-the-snake.

We need to find him, Hermione, and Draco.

And - alright. The reason we need to find them is that Sally Anne and I think Teddy might've figured out a secret about Draco and Hermione, and that he's got them somewhere right now and is planning to hurt them.

The secret he might've figured out is that Draco is in love with Hermione.
