Greetings to you both,

First things first: Weasley, I'm not worried at all that you and Finnigan will cross wands during this activity. I know that I, for one, am sure that you have no intention of being an instigator, and I think Draco is counting on family connections between the Malfoys and the Rosiers to keep Finnigan on his best behaviour. In fact, I think we shall all have a terribly grand time - especially when we WIN!

As for recruitment plans, I suspect that Harry's team is planning to go for Krum, Lovegood, Zimmerman, and Goshal, and possibly Longbottom and Lovegood's Yule Ball date, JP.

Padma's team will, I think, have Teddy, and most likely Corey, Sandoval, and Durand. Possibly Thompson or that other thirdie, Rhys-Meyers, too.

I've also been hearing that everyone wants Hydra, but they're all more or less letting us have her. That's kind of them! It also means we could try to get F-F, and an English-speaking Beauxbaton's person would be a huge bonus. You've become mates with him, too, haven't you Weasley? Finnigan's friend Evgeni is a good Durmstrang possibility.

My own personal suggestion is that we do whatever we can to go for Goyle. Believe me, I know what you're probably thinking, but we won't regret it!

What suggestions do you two have?

Remember that just because the other teams are planning to go for the people above doesn't mean WE can't try to get them, too.

Well. I think we should try to get Krum. First pick. That way we'd get him, unless we're not first, y'know? Are we drawing lots for order of picks? You're right, though, if we're not first, we won't get him, so we'll have to have second and third choices, right?

I heard Delacour's not coming. Is that what you've heard? How do you know all that about the other teams' plans, anyway? Is Diggory coming along? Or is it even open for upper years? Just the visitors? I didn't really get what Professor Siz said about that.

Anywiz, yeah. Okay. Goyle. He'll do anything Malfoy says, right? And who wouldn't want someone that strong with that kind of blasting hex?

Oh. And you don't have to worry about me with Finnicky. I want to win, so I won't be doing anything daft. But I'm not turning my back on him, either, y'know.

I think that if students in the upper years show up, then they're fair game. But it's all down to whether they're interested or not. I tried my very best to convince Barney and he wouldn't budge, not even when my eyes started welling with tears. So, I'm afraid that Delacour's probably not interested either, Weasley. But it's probably for the best, considering. Now Diggory, I'm not so sure...

As for how I know about the other teams' plans... I don't know anything for a fact, but I haven't studied acting so seriously and not picked up a thing or two about character traits.

Also, people have a tendency to talk freely in front of Milli, not realising that she is actually capable of listening and remembering.

That's precisely my point about Goyle - he'll listen to Draco without question, and he's very resilient, besides.

I heard we can maybe bring brooms if we've got them. Malfoy's bringing his, right? I've got my Silver Arrow, and it's in good trim. Anywiz, they didn't say we couldn't have them, so I'm bringing mine unless they tell us we can't.

It's not the fastest, but it's pretty reliable.

I don't know if Cedric's coming, but we should definitely go for him if he does.

Speaking of Milli, is she coming along? If we can't get Goyle, she's quite strong and would work well with you, certainly, and she and I get on all right most of the time too.

Milli? No, definitely not. Milli and I are dear friends, but just when I think she's listening to me and taking me seriously, she turns around and does as she pleases. I'm afraid she really can't be counted on.
