Oh, it's alright. I wasn't going to try - like you said, risk and wasted effort! And yes, Madam Umbridge did ask me to join. And Blaise I could tell her that I already have too many obligations, but I think that it might be a good idea - after today, especially - to keep up with what her plans for the school and student body are.
I think Draco's very cross that he's been left out of everything. He's not used to that, and it would explain why he's been ever so moody. More than usual, even!
