One of the elves from Spencer House firecalled me this morning to ask if I wanted any special preparations seen to before I returned home for the holidays. I was quite confused, of course, but then she called me "Mistress" and explained that the house belongs to me, now.

I wasn't expecting this, but in light of what's happened I suppose it's not entirely unsurprising. Anyway, I thought you should know before the others. I'm sure you have a number of personal belongings there; I don't know if they've been left behind or if the elves or Rodolphus did something with them... I'll find out for you when I get back to New London.
